Welcome Dinners!

We would love you to join us for dinner in week 1!

Here you’ll get to know some other students from NCS over a yummy dinner in someone’s home. Each night we’ll also have a short talk on a topic relevant to people who are just starting uni.

Pick the night that works best for you, or the topic that most interest you. You can even come to more than one if you like…

MONDAY: MED BIBLE STUDY WELCOME DINNER
Med students from all years meet for bible study together on Monday nights. We’re launching the year with a dinner to welcome the newbies!

New students will be streaming onto campus for O-week. Some will be Christian students, looking for a Christian student group. Others will be looking for friendly people, or even free food. All of them need to know Jesus.

~ This is something so important it’s worth planning for! ~

At Kickoff we’ll plan how to welcome them during O-week, and take care of them in the following weeks. We’ll fellowship around God’s word, launch the new NCS and FOCUS t-shirts, enjoy some food together, and pray for those that Jesus will be entrusting to us for the most formative years of their faith!

This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations.
And then the end will come.

WET WEATHER: EVENT MOVED TO MARTIN & JEN’S HOUSE

Come celebrate the Australia Day public holiday at Martin & Jen’s house.

11am-4pm Monday 28th January @ 15 Canara Place, North Lambton

Play slip & slide soccer or touch footy in the rain. Enjoy the smell of the eucalyptus trees and sumptuous sizzling hamburgers. Or simply enjoy relaxing chat over a mug of tea, some mouthwatering watermelon and a board game.

Bring swimmers, a change of clothes and towel, if you’re gonna play some wet weather sports. Bring your favourite board games, cards, snacks and uni mates.

Bring your friends, and $5 for lunch. If you know of new students starting at uni this year, invite them too!
